2026 Bike and Walk Audits

Advocating for improved bicycle and pedestrian conditions in Columbus, GA.

Columbus has seen an alarming rise in pedestrian deaths in recent years. People on foot represent about 30% of all traffic fatalities in the city. At Bicycle Columbus, we believe in eliminating traffic fatalities and endorse the Safe System Approach as the way to make this happen. In August, we’re conducting our first bike and walk audits right in the heart of the city. This is a call to action, and we need volunteers.
